The Orbital Launch Vehicle Team at Virginia Tech

The Orbital Launch Vehicle Team, or OLVT, is a collegiate research team, consisting of more than 80 members, with the end goal of becoming among the first collegiate design teams to reach past the Kármán Line. Operating like a well oiled machine, the organization is split into several sub-teams, and as the team's Chief Engineer, I am primarily responsible for directing design, manufacturing, and testing across all sub-teams, driving system-level integration, and leading the organization toward our common goal. While on OLVT, I have been able to participate in and learn about a variety of fields that I never would have thought possible.
